"Why are you having my painting in your room?" I asked shifting my gaze a little from the beautiful painting of me, towards him who was standing behind me with his hands in his pockets before looking back at the sketch. I could feel his breath on my neck as he was standing closer to me. "Because, I didn't want to feel alone and you, keep me sane." He husked in my ear making goosebumps erupt on my skin. I turned a little and looked up at him craning my neck, to look at him who was already looking at me with so much of love and adoration as if I was the only one in this world. "When did you draw this?" I asked in a low voice taking a step back while he stepped forward. My back hit the table and he placed his hands on both sides of the table caging me in between. His eyes bored into mine making my breath hitch. "Seven years back," He replied dropping his head on my shoulder and turning sideways snuggling into my neck. His one hand reached my nape pulling me closer to him. "That was the first time I saw you," He said huskily kissing my neck and my cheeks turned hot while knots formed in my stomach. This is another secret of Arnav, but the sweetest of all till now. ***************************************************************************************** His life was filled with darkness and hers was not better. His friends became his family as he never got the love of his family after his parents died, while her family became her friends as she never had friends. But still, they felt incomplete. He wanted someone to call his family, while she craved someone to share everything that she couldn't share with anyone, including her family. He was not any prince, but the mafia king, and the CEO of his empire, the Rajvanshi Group of companies while she was a mere middle-class girl with lots of dreams and a pure heart. His world changed when his eyes fell on her but she was unaware of his existence until he decided to show up and change her life once and forever.
"Come in." I heard him and pushed the door open. I took hesitant steps towards him and stopped at a considerable distance. "Ji Kaka sa," I bowed a little to show him my respect that doesn't even exist. But I am still doing it, just for the sake of my people. "You are going to get married," His words struck me like a thunderbolt and I stood there, still shocked by his utterances. "No! You can't do this to me. I am not getting married." I declared in a high-pitch tone and he visibly flinched in his place. He might have all the control for now, but I am the princess here, which will never change. "Keep your voice down!" He ordered once he made himself straight. "No! You keep your voice and eyes down, Mr. Eshwar. You are talking to Princess Meera Rajput! I own everything here, including your fate!" I roared, my anger and his baseless order bringing out the worst of me. He stilled in his place after witnessing the rage in my eyes after ages. Meera Rajput, a princess who doesn't have any say in her kingdom is set to marry the Ruthless king, Devansh Singh Rajawat. She is waiting for the right time to take back her everything while he snatches everything he owns. Buth of them have their own reasons for what they have become. Will Meera be able to stop her forced marriage or will she become the new ray of hope in Devnash's dark life?
"Sir, Ma'am, please calm down. We will reach our homes safely." The air hostess tried to calm down the panicked passengers after our plane got hijacked and the terrorists killed a man right in front of our eyes. There is chaos all around, the blood of the killed man spilled on a few seats and on the floor. The children wailed in fear while their mothers hugged them to their chests trying to control their children, not to make them more angry. These terrorists are negotiating with our government to release their leader and the deadline they gave is 5 hours. They killed a man when the government didn't give any reply even after an hour. One of the terrorists is arguing with an officer over the communication channel when the doors of the runway entrance opened and a man dressed in an army uniform came out holding another man who looked badly beaten up at gunpoint. The thing that shocked me more is the girl who followed them. She is wearing a jean top and her hair is tied in a high pony. The man who was held hostage tried to punch the officer but she held his hand mid-air and pinned him to the ground within a second and kept the gun in his mouth. What is she doing here? Isn't she supposed to be in Delhi now? What is she doing in Mumbai? What is my fiancee doing here at the airport when it's strictly restricted for everyone except for the officials? What's exactly her job in the government?
"Why don't you divorce him?" the man beside me asked making all the memories hit me like a truck. His smile, his care, his love, his possessiveness, his fight against the families about our marriage, him keeping me and my comfort before everything, that cute banter, romantic kisses, assuring hugs, sincere promises, everything, every single thing about us is still roaming in my mind. How can I leave him when he is the very reason for my existence after I lost everything? But do we have any future? I don't know. "I can't do that. The board members are still not convinced about my abilities and divorcing him is going to backfire on us and they would want me to step down as the CEO. This separation thing needs to wait until I make my place in the organization," I again stalled the advances from my side giving another business reason and he walked away, convinced. I need to act quickly and find the actual culprit before he decides to send a notice from his side. I lost too much in the past 3 months and I am not ready to leave my only reason to live, My Aksh. I have to end this game soon.
