Daksh

It's been 5 days since I met her. I wanted to see her but I was busy and I didn't have a reason to. I was sitting in a 5-star hotel with my cousins and best friends when she entered. I am on cloud nine.

She came in with some other girls one of them Seema. She entered and went to the manager to say something.  Something caught her eye and she went there.

"Can't you see where you go you, idiot?" A girl is yelling at a waiter.

"He can! But your friend here can't keep her legs to herself." Chaitra replied.

"What are you doing here?" The girl asked with anger evident in her voice.

"Leave about me. What are you even doing on this planet?" She asked her back with irritation.

"How dare you?" She yelled again.

"We will talk about it later. First, you and your friend apologize to him." Chaitra stated in a cold tone.

"No way! We are not going to apologize to him. He doesn't deserve it." was her arrogant reply.

"Everyone deserves respect, Tanya! And he deserves an apology for the way you treated him." She said in an angry tone.

"No way! People of your class don't even deserve to stand in front of us!" she said again.

How dare she say that to Chaitra? I will make her regret those words.

"Shut up and apologize. Now!" Chaitra warned in a dangerous tone. That girl jumped in fear but soon composed herself.

"Manager! Manager!" She yelled and the manager came there.

"Look these low-class people are disturbing us. Throw them out." She ordered him.

She is now crossing all limits. I got up from my seat to teach her a lesson. 

I started walking towards them when the manager spoke.

"I can't do that ma'am. You people please leave." He said to that girl.

"You are asking your VIP customer to leave just for a waiter and a low-class girl?" She yelled at the manager.

"She is the owner of this hotel! " Someone yelled from behind making me turn back towards the voice.

There stood a tall and handsome man with a beautiful woman beside him.

Chaitra ran and hugged him within a blink of an eye.

"Hi annayya! Hi Vadina!" (Brother and Sister-in-law)She said with happiness evident in her voice.

He kissed her forehead, took her hand in his hand, and walked towards that stupid girl.

"Because she is the owner of this hotel miss. She is Ms. Chaitra Chowdary only daughter of Mr. Raghav Chowdary the owner and the only sister of Mr. Aakash Chowdary the CEO who is standing in front of you. And I am canceling your VIP membership on this spot." He said in a dangerous tone.

"Annayya cool down. " Chaitra said.

"And apologize to the waiter and Chaitra before you leave if you don't want to receive a lawyer's notice tomorrow." The woman who came with him warned.

"Vadina you too!" Chaitra asked in a complaining tone.

"We are sorry!" The girls said in unison and left there embarrassed.

"Why do you two always overreact?" Chaitra whined at them.

"We didn't overreact." They both said at the same time.

Chaitra raised a brow at them. 

"Okay sorry! " They said in surrender.

"And vadina lawyer notice?" Chaitra asked expressing her shock.

"Well.. the lawyer inside me just popped out. Sorry," she said holding her ears and smiling sheepishly.

"Now do you understand how I am bearing with her? She wants to file a case or send a notice for everything." Her brother complained to which Chaitra chuckled.

"But you are utilizing her services as the legal advisor free of cost annayya," Chaitra replied.

"But the money I save will be spent by her again as my wife." He said in a matter-of-fact tone.

"By the way how come you are here?" She asked them.

"Bindu had some work in Delhi. During our return, we wanted to surprise you and Seema said you are here." He said.

"That's great. Let's eat together then." She suggested.

"No! In fact, let's go cook together. I missed us cooking together." He replied.

"Let's go." She gave her hand in his extended hand.

"I am staying here. I don't want to come there." Her bhabi replied.

"Suit yourself, ma'am," They both said in unison and disappeared into the hotel kitchen.

After they left I realized I was standing there for a long time now like an idiot.

My family is looking at me with shock written all over their faces.

I walked to them and took my seat.

"What was that?" They all asked at once.

"What was what?" I asked as if I didn't know what they were talking about.

"The thing you did just now!" Naksh yelled.

"What did I do?" I asked again faking innocence.

"Daksh, spill it now," Nithi said in her infamous cold tone.

"I just wanted to help her di. But she didn't need it. That's it." I shrugged my shoulders.

No one seemed to believe but they didn't push me further for which I am thankful.

We left there after our dinner. I didn't get to see her as she was in the kitchen and customers are not allowed there.

Chaitra

Today I am so happy to meet my Annayya and Vadina after 2 months. They came here all the way from Delhi to spend time with me. I felt bad when they said they would be leaving after dinner as they had some work which couldn't be postponed. I am happy that we are at least sharing a dinner. I and annayya cooked all the dishes we love cooking together. We even prepared ice cream for desserts. After we were done cooking we went to vadina who was already waiting for us.

"Good evening your Highness!" We both joined our hands and bent a little to show our respect for which we earned a glare from our dear vadina. My brother is 5 years older than me and he feels he should take care of me and protect me. After marriage vadina too joined his team. They both pamper me a lot along with Nanna and my cousins Devansh and Hithen who are my partners in crime.

"Stop the drama and take your seats," Vadina ordered us and we followed the command.

"Vadina try this dish" I forwarded the dish to her.

"No try mine first!" Annayya whined.

We both glared at each other which made her chuckle.

"By the way, maa sa is looking for matches for you." Vadina dropped a bomb. We call her Maa Sa as she is from Rajasthan. Our parents taught us both cultures right from childhood. 

"What? Why?" I am flabbergasted.

"What do you mean by what? You are going to turn 21 next week and you are going to enter your last semester in 15 days." She replied having a morsel of her food.

I looked at my brother and he too is busy with his eating.

"Are you that desperate to kick me out?" I asked them faking tears.

"Do you have a doubt?" Was my brother's cold reply.

"No one loves me. You all want to get rid of me." I said again.

"Oye drama queen! They are just looking for matches. The final decision will be yours. And it's your choice to get married or work for some time." Annayya replied.

"Okay!" I squealed in joy.

Well, I don't mind getting married if I find the right one.  I can work even after marriage. If he is as understanding as my family then I will be lucky to have him in my life.
